anyone planning a cruise on this ship?

Most I have been on is around 2,000 passengers, not sure about 6,000. Wouldn't say no if you're paying:rotfl:

It's mad isn't it?

Great design though, really good idea having the back open and then the garnde/shopping through the middle, and its nice for the people to have inside rooms but still a verandah.

I'm sure I read it has an onboard tattoo studio! Imagine if the sea got a bit choppy!

actually, the article makes it sound quite nice...i love attending seminars and doing all sorts of foolish stuff on board (sort of summer camp for adults)...
but i would hate all those sales pitches!

Actually, we are planning to cruise on the Oasis of the Seas for my 40th Birthday :thumbsup2

Bless you Natasha, I think you might be my new best friend :hug:

I did realise that the Disney Fantasy is due to take her maiden voyage in 2012 so that could be tempting too. Maybe I could do both (are you listening Gary ;))

I think that ship looks amazing and i bet you wouldnt notice the amount of passengers...its so big :)

I would love to go on this cruise and if it was a little cheaper for a balcony room we would have gone this year.. we'll wait probably 2 years for the prices to drop and sail then.
We love RCCL and wouldn't hesitate in sailing with them again, they are probably our favourite cruise line.
It's surprising when you get a ship with 4000 passengers it never seems to be that many people around.

I must admit I REALLY want to try it - I like the look of the rooms with balconies ove looking the park/promenade area - great for people watching!!

According to some of the reports i've read on Cruise Critic, a lot of people are saying that (with the exception of boarding and disemarkation) that the Oasis of the seas feels less crowded than other ships - I guess as someone else suggested, it is because it is such a huge ship.

I like the sound of the Donut and cupcake shops!!:goodvibes

There is a wicked trip report on the cruise board over on the Dibb, with some fab photos. I am saving hard now :)

Whoah! Impressive! I would have to save a lot of money to cruise on that ship. But it seems that its worth it.

OMG, so that looks amazing!!!

I'm scared to price it up incase it's cheaper than our cruise on the Dream and I get tempted to switch!

That is a monster of a ship! It looks like very las vegas to me. Over the top. Amazing though

Its not cheap, cheapest I could see was £583, 1st week in May for cheapest inside cabin and you have to trail to Fort Lauderdale to get on.
Still not sure about it, lets see how I feel on the bigger Disney ship next year.
