Anyone planning a backup vacation?

We are also sailing over March beak. We were more concerned the cruise would be cancelled then we were we would test positive, so we did book same time as a backup. Things are looking up so do not expect DCL to cancel unless the crew have a high number of cases. Once we get to Orlando, if cruise is not cancelled we can cancel the backup head to the ship the following day. We would head straight home if someone tests positive at port, don't want to risk having some getting real sick staying in a hotel out of state.

We are booked for The British Isles Cruise, September 2022 (re-booked from 9/21) Not feeling confident it will happen, and if it does, not so sure we want to take that chance. Have not booked airfare or hotels yet. As a backup we have WDW booked for December.

Thinking of booking a May vacation in case our March cruise is a no go. I am not thrilled with the changes most of the sailings before us have had but right now my main concern is that my DD is at college and lives with 3 roommates all who go out a lot (and my DD does some too)... I am on pins and needles about her being exposed before our trip. We will be doing at home tests frequently in the two weeks leading up to going... If we need to cancel I want something on the books for my DS to look forward to.
