Ok, I own this stroller, and LOVE it, BUT how in the heck do you latch it once it is folded?? I read somewhere it is difficult to latch, but I don't see anywhere that you can even do it. I can't imagine DH carrying it on the busses, and it popping open constantly...:confused3

I don't know there is a place to latch it? We had the regular Baby Jogger City Double and I don't recall a latch? We just got some smaller Joovy Grooves for our trip and their latch is RIDICULOUS!!! We'll have to make our own somehow, we were actually just thinking about this last night LOL

I just got mine but I think if you look under the two seats there is a velcro strap that is closed. Open the strap, close the stroller and use it to velcro the stroller closed. I haven't closed it before, my husband did but I think that's how he did it. I can't go look at mine right now to double check but try that.

I have the Single but haven't taken it out of the box yet but I have heard the same about there being a strap underneath the stroller. I probably should play with mine some seeing that we leave in less than 3 weeks and the stroller was bought back in April! LOL

Yes, I did check, it is under the seat. I tried to figure it out, but haven't yet! Seems like there could be an easier way!

Yup, it's just a velcro strap that holds the stroller folded - NOT a great design IMO. I'm not sure if we'll bother bringing this stroller on our next trip - I think it'll be too much of a hassle to deal with the velcro when boarding the bus.

Otherwise, an awesome stroller:thumbsup2

How exactly does this work? I still haven't figured it out! I thought it wrapped around the whole stroller...:confused3

Yes, it is an awesome stroller besides that!

Hi
We have twin girls and they are 1 years old now and we have the orange double city mini jogger, i have to say i love the stroller itself, but i do not like the way the girls sit slouched in the stroller, they never look comfortable, and it is very heavy and i could never figure out how to close this stroller. We are taking our graco duo glider with us. It will be much easier. We are also going in september what week are you going, we will be there 5th thru 12th cant wait. .

This is my concern with ours (also the Orange one although ours is a Single) as well. It is still sitting here in the box but I have been hearing that the kids slouching is a common complaint.

On the Yahoo Stroller Boards, there was a solution posted with pictures. Some parents are buying an elastic strap with a buckle on it and then wrapping it around the seat back and the metal bars on each side that are part of the handle and I guess it makes the seat VERY upright.

Might be something to look into trying to do. HTH's

We have the orange one too.;)

I don't have the slouching issue yet, because my twins are only 2 months, so it is always reclined for now.

I'm debating about getting a different stroller for Disney because of the whole folding and bus issues, which really upsets me because I do LOVE the stroller.

We are there from the 20th-27th...can't wait!! (Although, a bit nervous about taking 3mo old twins!)

i don't have the mini I have a single Elite - mine doesn' t have a strap it has this littlelach that i didn't even find until about a month ago - you have to almost sit on the stroller to have it folded even smaller than it folds up normally in order to latch it. - same thing w/ the elite about the slouching - I wonder where they are getting the strap? I really want to take this stroller & not my huge double jogger. I have a toddler jump seat coming for the BJ single.

I would love to hear about your experience with the single city mini upon your return. We are considering purchasing one for our DD 2 for our trip in October. Looks like a great stroller but I'm not sure how it will be for getting on and off the Disney transportation.

Looks like orange is a popular color--we have the double orange too. I never fold the thing either, I called Baby Jogger and like PP said, it's a hard to find piece of velcro. I suppose that is one of the problems of getting the first release. I guess I never really paid attention to my twins slouching, but I guess they do. They don't look uncomfortable though.

I love the stroller, but I'm in the market for a new umbrella for our trip. I don't want to mess with the folding issue when I'm in a hurry--right now we just have it unlocked in the back of our van when not in use.
