Anyone own rabbits?

Our bunny was a little devil. He'd get stuck in random places throughout the house, poop on stuff, etc etc. He started out as free range and then went directly to jail- his cage.

He leads a happy life there now.

what are you talking about silly girl ????

well, we now have a bunny - he is very cute and really likes hopping all over the place, he is litter trained and really very good.

We had rabbits when I was about 13. We let them roam a couple times but they left surprises and loved to chew the phone cords. We were lucky they weren't electrocuted. Phone lines have about 40 volts running through them.

Our two buns (Flemish giant) have the run of the house for a bit each day but they live in their lovely houses outside the rest of the time. They're not litter trained and they like to chomp on everything so we only have them inside when we can keep our eyes on them. They're so much fun and keep us laughing. My daughter cuddles them like babies but they're getting so big she can barely lug them around. They names are Sweet Clover and Harvey. They also have a 'bunny yard' so they can dig a bit, eat grass and hop outside without hopping away to meet up with the wild buns who live around here.

We adore our bunnies.

this little guy is neutered, three years old and was attacked and has two puncture holes in his ear and is blind in one eye and has several missing toes, he is fine now - he is also very tiny. we adopted him. he is a mix between a holland lop and americanfuzzy lop and is a pretty orangey color to his coat.

I had a lop eared for 7 years..he had the run of the house when I was home to supervise. He would go into his cage to use the "bathroom"..;)

They do chew wires though, so I locked him in when there was no one home. He and my now 18 year old tabby, were best of friends and Willow pined for weeks after Rabbie died..

wow - I think he is getting used to us. Last night, the moment you stopped petting him, he would nudge my hand and if I didn't pet him, he would hop to dh! It was so funny.

My sister's rabbit has free range around the house at any time. She is litter trained and has been for 8 years. She never gets locked up in her cage, but she goes there because that is where her food and litter box is.

once he gets used to everything and I make sure the house is bunny proof, he'll probably be free range, so far he seems to stay in one general area.

Our bunny was semi free range. We had 3 dogs and 2 cats at the time so it was for her own good that she was locked up. We would let her out every day when everyone else was put up.

The other animals would play with her through the bars, but we didn't trust them without the bars!!

My sister got a kitty last summer and the cat adores my sister's rabbit and will follow the rabbit around. Sometimes they play with each other and chase each other around the house, it is so cute to watch!
