Anyone own a Toyota Highlander?

We love our 2003 Highlander!! Very reliable, good gas mileage (for an SUV), great in bad weather.

This is an issue with all hybrids. There is the potential of electric shock to the rescue people when using the jaws of life.

I wonder if this is something to take seriously when considering whether or not to purchase the hybrid option? I mean, I certainly hope the jaws of life are never necessary but what a nightmare for rescue crews to by stymied by this feature!

The Toyota Highlander is one of the SUV's we are seriously considering.

Wasn't it voted most reliable vehicle or something?

I'd like a Porshe Cayenne, but I don't think that's going to happen, more money than I want to spend!

Is that who makes the Cayenne? I saw one the other day and just saw the word Cayenne on it and thought...hmmm a car named after pepper. Maybe it's Emeril's new venture. I never would have imagined it was made by Porshe but then I didn't see it up close either so?

And as far as the Highlander goes....well there can be only one LOL
