Anyone own a Saab?

I used to have a Saab. Just be careful because repairs are extremly expensive in this vehicle. I know we spent more on repairs on this car than the actual car was worth. But, if I could afford a brand new one, I'd get the convertible. I do love them.

From the limited experience I have had with them on a technical side they are very interesting and quirky.
They seem to handle the miles quite well, seeing many high mileage ones in the locators. It is a quality car but the only down side is what MickeysMommy brought up about the repair and parts cost which I have seen also.

We know a couple who has one and they love it. I tell them every time I see them that it looks like a Ford Focus. Drives them nuts.

There is also a Hyundai hatchback that looks a bit like them also.

My DH and I are going to look at them tonight when the dealer closes, sort of peek inside and pick out a style we like. Then we'll go online and do some research.
I know if we drove one, we'd want it right away, so we won't drive one until we're at that point to buy. I've always loved how they look, and some of the styles are so plush inside.

Both 9-5's.... mine is a 2001 and DH has a 2002 9-5 Aero (his has a bigger turbo engine in it). We love them! Mine is more of a sedan ride, and his is more sporty. My lease is up this summer, and I may look at another one... mostly because we are GM "A" buyers, and the deals are terrific. Both are leased, and come with free maintenance for three years, and On-Star free for the first year. We couldn't turn down the price (monthly payments).

All 9-5's come standard with CD player, power windows, Sunroof, etc. All other sedans we looked at had these options as expensive add-ons.

DH bought a 2000 9-3 that is certified and has a 3 year warrenty. He loves it. A lot.

It is a very nice car but the leather seats cause me to slip around too much for my taste. He has never been happier with a car than this one. So far no problems at all.
