Anyone on Waitlist for President's Week Feb. 2009?

So, I found the December waitlist thread very useful, I thought i would start a Feb. (President's Week) waitlist thread.

We managed to book two nights studio, dedicated savanah view AK in Nove. and two nights studio SSR. The dates are checking in Feb. 17th and checking out Feb 21st.

We wait listed Feb 15th and 16th. I have been trying to call every day and managed to snag a 1 bdrm at VWL today for the 16th...just waiting on the 15th, now.

Anyone else???

I was on the waitlist for that week. Two of the days came in rather quickly. I was waiting for the 15th for what seemed like forever. It came in about two weeks ago

We will be at VWL 15-21

I would keep calling. I know in theory you shouldn't have to, but there have been stories of members calling each day and picking up days. I would especially call after the 30 day mark.

Yes, I know...we have never moved that much...but I guess we will take what we can get...

We were waiting on the 15th forever also and it came in a few days ago for a studio at Saratoga!

Update...we booked vero beach for 14th and 16th on points and cancelled the VWL ressie...hope it helps someone!! Now we are 14-17th at Vero Beach and then AKV 17th thru 19th and then SSR 19th thru 21st...waitlisted SSR nights at AKV...good to know others are experiencing this as well.
