I feel like I am the ONLY one in the world not going to CA for the cruise!!! I can't book that far ahead becuase my is at a new job & we don't know where he'll be then! I don't know if I would have even if it was possible- but I surley am not this time around. I feel left out of all the booking excitememnt! Anyone else not going????:confused3

BTW- congrats to all of you who ARE going-- is there a smiley that indicates seething with jelousy??? :)

Don't feel alone, we're not going either, we went on our 1st 7day Disney cruise this past March and were re-booking for June 2005 but not now, looks like I'll wait until June 2006 or maybe go on another cruise line. Ca. is just not an option for us at this time, I really have no desire but I do feel left out of the excitement.

I'm NOT going either!!! So you arent the only one!;) I'm still saving up to go on the 4 day Wonder next year! :hyper: hahaha

With all these people coming to California, I think I'll need a vacation to escape the crowds. :bounce: :bounce: :bounce:

The booking excitement surely is catchy, isn't it??? Don't feel left out, we aren't going to CA either.

I'm okay with it, though. I think if it is a success (which it seems that it will be) a new ship will eventually be out there for us to try in the future. Think positively! :teeth:

But for now, we can all be a part of a "Not Going to CA" club. Oh well!

If you really are intersted in going, you could book one and you'll have up untill 60 days prior to the sailing to make your finally payment (you dont have to make any payment at all untill then if you dont want to) Well if at the 60 day mark you find you cant go because of bf's job you can always cancel without losing a penny. Just a thought. :D

Im with you guys! For the longest time I had my heart set on a 7 day cruise in the summer of 2005 for our 10th anniversary. Disney had other plans though, LOL! After the waiting got to be too much a few months ago we booked the 7 day western for 10/05. Sure the kids will miss 4 days of school and we wont be eating at Palo on our anniversary like I had dreamed of, but the good news is the cruise itself is about 2000.00 less than what we would have paid out of California, nevermind what we will save on airfare. ;) And I think the best part was not having to drive myself crazy all day today during the made booking rush. I know Im going where I want to and for less money than origianlly thought. ;)

We aren't going either and we live in CA but about 500 miles away from the port. I already have our vacation planned for next summer. I doubt we could fit it in. And, I do feel a little left out. I'm sure everyone who is going will give us the full details with trip reports so, it will feel like we were there (a litte bit)...

Don't go too far Trishy! I'm planning on staying at your house during all the hoopla!::yes::

I'm still counting down to our Disney cruise for THIS summer!! :sunny:

We're going on a Royal Caribbean cruise in summer 2005. I have no desire to do a Disney cruise out of CA.

But I am excited for all of you who've been waiting to book the CA cruises! :)

Is anyone OLD enough to remember the "I Love Lucy" episode where going to California (or not) was a heated topic of discussion amongst Lucy, Ricky, Fred, Ethel & Lucy's mother ???

I like the thought that this is popular enough to get a 3rd ship! I was so hopeful for a Disneyland and Sea package! maybe there is hope for the future.:D

My biggest worry now is that once the summer of 2005 arrives all the posts here will be about the CA cruises and info on the Western Carribean(what I will need then) will be sparse. ;)

We're not going to CA either.

I would LOVE to go on either repo cruise. The excitement is contagious. Daughter is in school and we can't pull her out for two weeks in May 2005 or have her miss the first day(s) of school in Sept 2005. I don't have an interest in doing a 7 night cruise out of CA.

Not going to California, but I'm fine with that.

We are doing the 10 day Christmas cruise which is giving me something to look forward to.

Now when a 3rd ship is built and they start booking Alaskan cruises - then I'll be calling! ::yes::

Congrats to all who are sailing out West - enjoy!

were not going eather we were going to go july 05 but california is out of the question fo us so we will wait until 06 and were not interested in back to back 3 and 4 night cruises to the same places
