Time is running out! Tick tick tick tock. Get off the DIS & go do your taxes. Especially if you owe. They need the money.

I'm way late this year. I usually file early to mid March. Finally got it done yesterday and now I'm sorry I put it off so long. We're getting back more than I thought.

DH is driving me crazy!!!! He has a small business and he had to wait until those returns were back from the accountant. He finally sat down to do ours last night and realized that he had bought the wrong turbotax from Sam's. He had bought Turbotax Business and he needed home and business. Off to walmart at 11pm last night to get the correct one. He only got halfway through it last night before he stopped. So far, we have to pay $2500. I'm on pins and needles until he finishes tonight.

Personal taxes have been done. I still have to do the taxes for my condo association. This is probably the first year they will be filed on time.

Mailed mine yesterday. I was early this year, I usually mail on the 15th!
It doesn't matter if we owe or are getting money back, I'm always doing it just in time.

In southern New Jersey, we also got the extension due to flooding.

I got mine in early April, though, and hoping to get my money on Friday.

We get a refund every year and I still wait to the last minute. This year I did it early, got them filed today

My extension was mailed last week - I always do the household taxes in October.

Did DS's yesterday via TurboTax free efile (he is a student) just got my confirmation of acceptance in this mornings email.

I usually do get things to the CPA as soon as the W2 comes in but this year I was slow and got stuff out in March. Thanks for this reminder though, I just called and confirmed everything was sent in already.

we got an extension here in Southeastern MA, too.

i filed my federal months ago, but only filed state yesterday. had to get some paperwork for my health insurance - MA whacks you with a $230 fine for not having coverage, and i wasn't even getting back that much!
