Anyone need a January 2000 POM?

I just received a note from Cheappins.com. Bob was at a convention in DL and has some new pins on his site. I grabbed some Jan POM for less than $10.00 If you need one write me, and we can trade something. Peggie

Do you already have confirmation that you're going to be able to get this pin? Often, he's sold out of these LE's...almost as soon as he posts them on his site...the parade pins from DL come to mine...

I am still waiting for my confirmation letter. I was on line when the mail came through letting me know about the new pins, and I bought them right away, but still haven't heard. For those of you who contacted me wanting them, I will let you know as soon as I hear. I hope I get them so I can help you out. I can't believe how many of you still haven't gotten that pin. If in fact the pins I ordered do arrive-let's hope so because I received confirmation and already paid for them, I should also have at least one January POM and a 1999 Magic Delivery Tinkerbell extra for trade, so if Peggie runs out-just let me know. I might be able to help-finally!!

I just received a note from Cheap pins. I did not get through in time.
I am very upset, because I was on line when the e-mail came to me. I immediately sent the order in, and I mean Immediately. I only ordered the rubber backs and the POM.
I would like to know how I can order so quickly and not get it filled when others I know ordered way after.
I am sorry to those who asked for a pin. I knew two people who have been looking for this pin for months and I promised when and if I got them I would sell them at cost. So if anyone has an extra please talk to Caroline (Lovingthemouse) or Judytuchman. I would appreciate it. Peggie

I was at the NFFC Disneyana & Pin show in Anaheim on Sunday. I saw quite a few of these pins for $14-15. Fun Fair has shows almost monthly. Maybe I'll have to go more frequently and look for these pins for my fellow pintraders. A lot of pins were going for less (except of course my holy grails )

I just got the same sad email, so I emailed Bob back. I think he knows now that he needs to impose a 1 or 2 pin limit on ALL Disney LE's....he really thought he was gonna get more, but his supplier "dried up" so to speak...Oh well

I got the "sorry, none left" e-mail as well...even though I found the pic and placed the order apparently even as his notifications were being sent. ???? Oh well, it was a first, maybe I'll get lucky next time! Waaaaaahhhhh!





Too many happy thoughts (and only 15 days to think 'em, YES!) to fuss about it, anyway!

But I also will be getting almost all the other pins I ordered and wow what
great traders for a great price. I sent Bob a note of thanks for his great
service. Without him and Gerri many of us wouldnt have traders to take
to the parks.....so I forgive him when he runs out of a "HOT" pin......

I only ordered two of the January POM, wish I had ordered more. When they arrive, I will have one for trade. I would much rather trade if possible.

I was also online when the notice arrived so go figure. I do know that some ISP have faster email service than others so even though some emailed right away, it may have taken longer to arrive.

I agree, there were some great prices on those pins.

I would much rather be going to the August event............
