Anyone need a Fairy Godmailer for Disneyland?

My DS and I are going to Disneyland October 27-30 and are willing to do a couple of Fairy Godmailers for anyone going after that time. Just PM me with the child's name, address, favorite character and time going. My sister and I have done this everytime we visit Disney. We just love being able to send a little of the magic to brighten their day.

My DD received a post card this weekend and I don't think she's put down the postcard yet. It was a perfect little bit of pixie dust for her.

I'm going to throw my hand up and say I'd love to take on a couple Fairy Godmother mailings myself. I'll be at DL Sept 19-23. Just PM me if the timing works out well for you and I'd love to send some pixie dust.

Basically, I write something on the postcard welcoming your child to Disneyland as their favorite character which will also be on the postcard. Sure I can mail to Canada.

Aw, that is a sweet idea! Don't know if any of you are familiar with the children's book Flat Stanley--it's about a kid (Stanley) who gets flattened by his giant bulletin board and then discovers he can travel wherever he wants by mailing himself in an envelope. Many teachers have children create Flat Stanleys and send them to different places where they are photographed and sent back like a pen pal. A teacher friend of mine in Canada did this project with her class, except had the children trace and color themselves. She sent me "Flat Bethany" so of course I took Flat Bethany to Disneyland. If you've ever wondered if the characters will pose for a picture holding a life-sized drawing of a child on paper, they will! After I sent the pictures back I got a note from my friend saying that the real Bethany had been a shy, unpopular child in her class, and Flat Bethany's Disneyland trip really gave her a moment to shine. Awwww .

I've gotten 4 requests from people to be their fairy godmailers and I'm going to do the 4, but that's my limit. So thanks to those who are volunteering to be fairy godmailers too. It's nice to be able to send a little magic to the kids.
