Anyone meet Zurg???

Has anyone met & got an autograph from Zurg?

We're taking our first family trip to WDW in September. When I asked my DD6 who she wanted to meet it was all princesses....easy! My DS5 loves all things Toy Story and wants to meet Zurg in addition to the standard Buzz & Woody...not so easy!

Any help? We don't plan to do MNSSHP.

Not sure if I've ever seen Zurg... Buzz and Woody are manageable though...

I have seen pictures of kids standing next to the Zurg "statue" in line for Buzz Lightyear. Don't know if that would satisfy him or not?

That Zurg Statue is pretty impressive, IMO. We all had to have photos next to him.

Hah! The Emperor Zurg statue is awesome and reminds me of my last visit.

Our group was working our way through the Buzz line and there was a little kid, maybe 5 or 6 in front of us, seemingly on his own. Head down, just moving along, not a care in the world. Then we turn a corner, he looks up and see the evil Emperor Zurg standing there menacingly. One look at Zurg and the kid freezes in horror. "Oh no. It's HIM!" Turns tail and runs for the entrance. We all felt sorry he was scared but it was priceless, really funny.

About 30 seconds later we run into his dad who was ahead of him, asking if we'd seen him. We told him what happens and he rolls his eyes and tells us he just rode it 5 minutes ago.

Guess, he didn't feel old Zurg eyeballin' him the first time!

I don't think he exists as a meet and greet character, but this is what the statue is like in The Buzz Lightyear ride gift shop. It's a great photo op!

You could always ask guest services when you get to Disney, I've never seen Zurg, but if anyone would know if he would be appearing they would
