Anyone making any extra cash selling online?

You might also try NextDoor for selling furniture, if it’s used in your area. I’m not on FB so it’s been my CL alternative

I sell on eBay, but mostly comic books my husband is parting with

You can also try Letgo for things - the guy who did my mom's kitchen when she bought her house got rid of some of the things from the previous owners for us using that.

OMG! yes! I've had as many as 13 people PM for an item (it was a NIB pool filter) in the first 5 mins after I listed it! It's hard to keep track of who should get "first dibs"... the person who PM'ed you first with "is it available?" or the first to reply back saying they are coming to get the item. Then.... there are the people who *definitely* want it but never show up on the day they said they were coming! But, I must say, the majority of my FB Marketplace sales have been positive!
My husband received 50 lbs of shelled Pecan's from a vendor over Christmas. I bagged them up at 5 lbs. a piece. In the store, pecans can go for $8.00 a lb. I had a lady that told me she would come and pick them up, and made meeting places, and when I would say, what time, she never responded. I was going to sell all 50 lbs for $40. I have a friend on the DIS that lives in Michigan, and I live in Wisconsin. She is on a Keto diet, and I am going to send them to her. So that was a loss for me on Maretplace.

I sell on ebay and have made Disney spending money plus it's my get my hair highlighted money. Not tons but enough for those things.
The last couple of months of 2019, I saved that money and used it for Christmas gifts too since I didn't need my hair highlighted then.

I'm just taking stuff from around that house that we need to get rid of and listing it up to the 50 free items. Sometimes things sell, sometimes not. Nothing I sell are big ticket items.
If it doesn't sell after 6 months I donate it. With the exception of my extra disney pins - those I keep listed until they sell since I'm slowly reducing my collection to just my favorite pins.

I've tried Facebook Marketplace and gotten nowhere and Craigs List is awful to sell on nowadays. When I get to selling the foosball table (currently buried under a lot of stuff) then I'll try Facebook Marketplace again.

For those that want to put your sales on vacation, I just end them myself since I don't have a store. You can do that in batches easily. Google helped me figure out how to do that.
And when I return, I wait till I can list 50 free items again and just relist them all.

I do Ebay and over the past 2 months started on Poshmark. I like Poshmark a lot for the heavier items. Been doing pretty good on there.

I used to sell a ton on EBay years ago and even made enough as a side gig that it paid for a few Disney trips for us. Lately, I have sold a few things on Mercari, but it just seems to take forever to sell anything on there. We have also sold on Craigslist every now and then.

Was thinking of trying to get back in it just for a little extra money and when there is downtime over the winter.

So I’m wondering if anyone here has been having any luck selling things online and what you have found that seems to sell quickly.
My husband has been selling on EBay for a couple of years. Mostly collectibles. Used to sell a fair amount when he first started. It has gotten less & less over time.

I am getting ready to sell my Barbie collection & Disney items (including art purchased on DCL) and have been wondering where the best places to sell would be. Any info appreciated!!

My husbands friend is slowly selling his Mother's Barbie collection on Ebay. It's been selling slowly. I think the key is pricing it just right.

I have some things listed on Mercari and EBay and nothing is moving. I miss the old days on EBay when things would sell quickly.
