Anyone make cake pops?

I was thinking I would put the sticks in before I froze them, is that not a good idea?

That's what I did. i only melted a bit of chocolate for stick-dipping, then froze them with the sticks in them. I think you'd want to find a way to cover them if they'll be frozen long-term so they don't get freezer burnt.
