My DD is planning on majoring in Computer Animation but would like to attend a traditional University...getting the normal Gen Ed's and then her bachelors in Art. We live in Illinois and to be hones, unless it is a private art school, the programs are very basic, not competitive at all. Is anyone here attending a state school or University that has a com,petitive CA program? She likes Ringling in Sarasota, but priced right out of there, and not too sure about SCAD (Savannah college of art/design) maybe a Graphics degree and picking up animation courses at a private art college? Any help you guys have will be appreciated. DD is a junior in HS so needs to send out applications soon.
