ANyone made a Disney Photo Mosaic with their pics?

Has anyone ever created a Photo Mosaic with their Disney vacation pics? Kinda of like making a collage with your pics, but from a distance they look like Mickey or some other character with hundreds of your photos inside?

Just curios because I am trying to figure out how big to do it, and the procedure from there. Any info is appreciated. Thanks, Scott

I would think you'd need hundreds if not thousands of photos to do it, plus a computer software that can collage all those photos.

I know there are photo mosaic software out there but I've never tried them before. I don't have that many pics yet to mosaic.

Disneyland is doing this for their 50th Anniversary. They are trying to collect a million photos from all over the country of people at Disneyland and they are putting mosaics all over the park.

I think yours will be a little smaller, but still pretty cool!

There was actually a REALLY cool looking one in the newest Disney Magazine. (we got ours yesterday) It was a picture of Mickey made out of pictures from WDW/DL

My mother sent in some of our old Disneyland pictures to be considered for the collage. I'd love to try to make one, but also don't have a clue where to begin. Do you have to alter the pictures by putting color over them, or do they stay in their natural state?

Not that this really helps you out, but Disney sells a jigsaw puzzle that is a collage of single frames from all sorts of Disney movies. When all the pieces are put together, you see Mickey.
