Anyone love their Shark Vacuum? Which one?

I am a neat freak I will confess! I have an ORECK that I love but I vaccum at least 1x if not 2x daily! I hate lugging a sweeper up and down the steps.

I have hardwoods downstairs and just got a huge area rug in the family room that I vacuum constantly b/c the dog bed is in this room, etc. I have heard the shark is good. I would like one for the big area rug as well as to do the floor mats by the door. This will just be my downstairs sweeper but would like a nice one!

Anyone have one to recommend? thanks!

I have had a Shark Navigator for several months now and love it!

Went through two other (one expensive, one cheap) vacuums before it and hated them both.

The Navigator works great on both carpet and bare floors, and has a great "edger" so it picks up everything. It has a pet hair attachment that I love (my cat likes sleeping on the back of the couch), and it has some other tools that I use quite frequently, plus it is super easy to empty.

The only thing it doesn't have that I miss is a "headlight".

I just purchased the Shark Navigator about 1 month ago after asking for vacuum reviews here on the DIS!

I absolutely LOVE it!! You wouldn't believe the hair/debris that thing picked up the first time I used it!

The suction is so strong, it's easy to push since it's self-propelled, has a long cord, easy to use hose, etc.

I had a couple of shark products and I really love them. I have the lift away pro that ha an attachment for hardwood. I don't use that though since I also have a steam cleaner now. I really like that I can clean it all and let it dry for a day.
