Anyone live in Solon, Ohio?

Hi, We are looking at moving to Solon b/c my husband works there. I was wondering what you thought about the schools. Also, is K full day or half? I see both listed on the website. Are you able to pick which one your child attends? My DS will be in K in the fall, and I want full day!!

hi. i grew up in the city next to solon.. bedford ohio.. solon is beautiful.. it is a great city for families the school system is one of the best by a long shot and so is the community as far as activites for your son as he grow( tball, soccer, pool, rec center.) you will be in solon school system other than catholic schools he will attend solon.. but that is really a blessing i wish i could afford to buy a home in solon it is one of the few my husband and i both agreeed we would send the kids to the public school. solon is not far from the city there is a lot of stores and shopping and things to do as your son gets older.. it use 2 he 10 mins from geauga lake but they closed it which i am still mad about but they kept the water park open which is amazing.. i dont no what else you want to know but pm me if you like.. and welcome to northeast ohio!!! ..oh yah and be ready to become obsessed with the browns lol

I grew up in Solon and went k-12 for school. The school system is awesome, but it is pricey. It is a nice community with lots of opportunities.
