anyone listening?

thanks for posting the link... I'm glad I'm listening

They need to hire that women to do a reality show - it would be the biggest hit ABC would have.

CPA is speaking now, unhappy with appearance of PW being independant after so many years.... I agree

Where can we find a transcript?
You might want to wait until the meeting is actually over. I doubt that there's a real-time transcript anywhere.

Now a lady representing a group of stockholders is addressing their opposition to Disney doing business in China because of China labor laws...human and labor rights violations. Proposal to have basic rights standards to be set by any company doing business in China. Says they have proposed this multiple years to Disney.

*edited because I can't listen and type at the same time!

I believe this to be a serious subject and im not mocking it all because shes speaking quite well and is laying it all out on the table with facts and figures, she did her homework. What i'm thinking is i bet ME is falling asleep.

darn that lady talked so eloquently and she was shot down in an instant, i've never heard one of these so this i new to me.

EVELYN Trying to crash the party again. The corporate jungle queen is comming back. now some lady is backing up the lady who just spoke about bad business practices in China. WHOAH she said im talkin to you not the back of your head WHOAH!!!!!!!

whoah she called the Wonderful World of Disney an informmercial* whoah.

Discussion was called for on that topic. Another woman spoke up in favor of the proposal. She evidently didn't feel Eisner was listening and says "Excuse ME!" She didn't appreciate talking to the back of his head. Wish we had video!

The "practices in China" resolution has been on the ballot for several years now. Its gone to a sound defeat each year. I suspect it might get marginally better support this year just because the Board recommended "no" on it and there's some backlash against the Board, but I still don't think it has a chance.

>>Where is Evelyn?????????????<<

She has been forcibly removed and put in a special holding room backstage, where the handful of remaining Disney animators are studying her, as a potential template for the comedic relief character in the proposed upcoming animated remake of "Barbarians at the Gates"
