I think it's pretty sad that this pavillion showcases the stereotype about American cuisine. VEryone thinks that American cuisine consists only of hot daog and hamburgers, and this pavillion endorses that stereotype that isn't true.
What could have been there? A restaurant like LTT. Thanksgiving dinner is some mystery to the rets of the world, we all know the turkeys from television, but not from real!
I don't know what they could do. Maybe have a TS-place with an all-round American menu (real hamburgers, not CS-burgers, steak, fried chicken, baked potatoes, ...) and then every month have some items of different regions, like they do now with the Route 66 - Oklahoma-boots at F&WF. That way, every time you go, you are surprised by delicious fod of different states!
