Anyone like the Character Dinner at Akershus?

We had dinner there last July.

We all liked the cold buffet. The kids enjoyed and their entrees (one had pizza and two had pasta). DH liked the chicken pesto dish. I had salmon which was overcooked to the point of being inedible, but the sides which came with it were good. Dessert is very good, served family style. Since I was hungry (due to the awful salmon), I ate lots of that, and we even got seconds.

Princess interaction is nice. For our dinner, Ariel was the greeter in the lobby. Jasmine, Aurora, Belle, and Alice came to our table. All were good and all spent a lot of time at the table with us.

Did you have to give a credit card to secure the reservation? I made a breakfast ADR for August today and didn't know I'd need to give a credit card number.

My family went to breakfast there for the princess breakfast and we hated it.... I would rather go to the castle for breakfast with the princesses.

We love dinner here! The cold buffet is really good. There are different salads, cold cuts, cheese, shrimp, fish and breads. The kjottkaker is SOOOO good, its basically a really yummy meatloaf and it comes with delicious mashed potatos. The dessert is served on one plate for the table to share and has 3 things - they were all excellent. Lots of great princess interaction. All the main ones are there. We are going back next month - I can't wait!
