...what the difference in price (approx) is between a AAA package and a regular old package from disneyworld.com. Also are the packages from DU discounted too? I know AAA offers 10-15% off room rates depending on when you go and where you stay, but what about the whole package? We are planning on going at the end of July.

It is hard to say. The discount is on the room portion only. DU prices would only reflect a discount if you do AAA room-only or have some kind of code or pin.

The things that will affect your price: how many people & ages, when you are going, what level you are staying at, use of DP...

Most people report saving around $200 when using AAA. Just FYI, if you are going for a package & want the AAA discount, you must book thru AAA. If you want a room-only booking, you can book it yourself, thru AAA, or any TA.
