Anyone know which use years are left through Disney ?

All this talk about adding on has me wondering . We have an Oct use year at BWV and BCV ... does anyone know if points are still available at BCV for an add-on with Oct use year ? How about BWV ? Just thinking .... and dreaming !!

Just received BCV October Monday after a week on the wait list.
Was told last week that December and April were available. Not good time for us so we waitlisted for the October. We have April already and did not want to add since we Florida vacation during the Fall & Winter Months.
Not real knowledgeable on our first purchase. We have learned, purchase just before you plan on vacationing.

Remember no banking, MB etc. with an October purchase at this time. Points are $84. for BCV.

Adding on April points might be an option for us.

I guess it's still considered an add-on if we already own at BCV (Oct use year )... or would a different use year purchase not be be considered an add-on ??? Anyone know ??

You can't do an add on at your home resort with a different use year.

I believe that they would make you buy another master contract of 150 pts if you wanted a different use year.

I believe an add on can only be the same use year when purchasing from Disney.
If you want another use year you must go with a new contract ( 150 points Min. from Disney ) or find a smaller contract from the resale market if and when they become available.

My understanding from my agent, is that, if you purchase any property through Disney and already have a contract, that all contracts have to be in the same use year, no matter which property.

I have points at BCV and wanted to get points at OKW. Jim told me that no Disney property at that time had an August use year (my UY for BCV) and that I would have to use the same use year.

Now I am purchasing a resale that has a different use year. I think this is the only way to achieve the change.
