Anyone know when the DCA lagoon will be refilled?

My friends and I are going Sept 7-10 and we love the bar (and the view) in Ariel's Grotto. Are we going to be staring at a cement hole? =(

Actually, you might not be, as I understand it, they are TRYING to get the construction equipment out of the lagoon by Labor Day, but they might not make it. Then they will slowly refill the lagoon, it will take a few days to get it up to the level of the fountains, when they are supposed to stop filling and check things, before starting filling again.

I have always said sometime in September, and it looks like that around mid-September will be when the lagoon will be back to looking normal... But of course, the amphitheater area will still be behind walls, it looks like mid-December will be the finiosh date for that project.

Definitely by October. It will most likely be early September unless there are some major delays.

Me too! My DH and I just love sipping on an Long Island, looking over the lagoon. I have missed it the last few times we went.

I've been going to Disneyland every year for a long time and I just found that place last April, on our last day! It's a total secret amazing spot! I can't wait to go back!

You should try sipping your favorite drink at teh bar area at night when the lights are reflecting off the water. Ahh..I wish it were filled and Dh and I were there.

I guess that I just didn't give it much thought, but I didn't realize that it would take so long to fill. I leave DL on Sept. 20, so I guess I won't get to see it full. Albort, would you bump the water inflow to super fast???

It is a lake afterall. Ill make sure to get all the extra waters we get into the lake!

i may be wrong but it did take a LONG time for it to drain.
