Anyone know what's up with the El Rio refurb?

I just saw on the homepage that El Rio De Tiempo will be undergoing a long refurbishment. Does anyone know what the plan is? Are they just doing maintainence or updating anything?

I like this ride. I find it really relaxing and peaceful.

I have no idea. I was disappointed to see that it will be closed while I am there. Even though it's in need of a major update, I really like this silly ride for some reason!

Let's hope they update the video. It looks very 70's! Although we have a good laugh everytime!

My sis loves this ride. It's so darn corny. That scene with the people at a bar in the water is a hoot. Wonder what they'll do to it?
