"Twinkling Stars Apron" ?????

Granddaughter told her dad this is something she wants..

Anyone know who makes it or where I would find it?

Thanks!

Google doesn't know either. :( Sorry.

Hmmm...could she have misunderstood a commercial? Twinkling stars 'upon'.......? How old is she?

She just turned 4 in September.. Her other Grandpa said it's some kind of a "work" apron for little kids but he can't remember who makes it or sells it..

A few days ago she kept telling me she wanted a "talking lawnmower" and I didn't have a CLUE until I asked about it on these boards.. Thanks to some speedy replies I was able to order it on-line the same night.. :)

Just thought someone here might know what this apron is she's talking about..

Okay, I know nothing about this, so I probably shouldn't be answering this post, but I wanted to try to help so here goes. Do you mean an apron for cooking, or for other playing and crafts. I found one for both.

I found a kid's kitchen apron with supplies. This one looks pretty cool. No twinkling stars mentioned here (though there is a star cookie cutter ;) ... I know, that's stretching it ;) ).

Julia Child, step aside--the Very Busy Baker is here! Keeping Mommy or Daddy company in the kitchen is even more fun when you can bake your own goodies right alongside the adults. This set--complete with cookie cutters and a cookie sheet, a pastry tin, bear- and heart-shaped cake tins, a mini-loaf tin, a sifter, measuring spoons, a mixing spoon, a whisk, and a spatula--is ideal for pretend kitchen play (just thinking about it makes us want to whip up some colorful Play-Doh star cookies and a mud pie). But the professional-quality, miniature bakeware is also perfect for the real deal--simply add a mixing bowl and some adult supervision, and the delicious aroma of tiny homemade cakes and pastries will be wafting from your oven in no time. The small size of the tins makes for nice, convenient single-serving snacks for guests of all ages.

It's 29.99 + shipping, here's the link if you want to check it out:

I have no idea if this is right or not either, but here's a kid's work apron (Art Apron with Supplies):

Cool Dot to Dot apron comes packed with lots of art supplies to fill up the pockets. Includes 12 sticks of dustless colored chalk, 6 fine tip washable markers, 8 crayons and three paint brushes. Perfect for keeping young artists busy and clean. Colors may vary.

So, this doesn't say anything about "twinkling stars" but it's the best kid's apron that I've been able to find on the net so far. Here's the link if you want to check it out. (14.99 + shipping)

Disclaimer ;)
Again, I have no idea if either of these are right and take no responsibility for broken hearts on Christmas morning if they're not even remotely close, but maybe these will give you some more ideas or give you something to ask the other grandpa about in more detail. Good luck!

LOL....ok, I'm hooked...I MUST know what the dear child wants now! I've come up with this:

Ummm.. She also wants a "bouncing sausage"..

Any ideas on THAT one???????:teeth:

Personally, I'd wear the twinkling star apron and cook the bouncing sausage, but I'd insist that someone else cut the grass with the talking lawn mower. :teeth:

I'm no help! Never heard of them, but I hope your quest ends speedily. I bet someone here knows what she is talking about.

tell the little one that santa says you have to be at LEAST six to get that and you are only four.......hahaha......we had to do that one year for baby burp....could not find that dolly anywhere.....finally found it but to late for xmas and got it for her birthday that was in february.....

OK C.Ann, Twinkling Star apron....bouncing sausages (I ain't even gonna TRY and search for that one!!)...I think your Granddaughter has a twisted sense of humour and it's all an evil plot to keep you guys running ;)

I think I'm going to go with pumba's suggestion and tell her that Santa said she can't have those things until she's a LEAST six.. Maybe by then we'll know what she's talking about!! :teeth:
