Anyone know what the current DVC gift is at the member meeting?

When we sailed in December it was a tervis style mug with a blue cap. Are they still giving this out or have they changed to something new?

We just got back from the Magic on Sunday and it was still the Tervis style cup.

We Sailed in November on the Fantasy and got drawstring backpacks. We sailed on the Dream in January and got the Tervis style mugs. I would say you would get the mugs.

Yea! We cruise in Sept. on the Fantasy again. I hope it is still the mug. I purchased a DCL Tervis mug last year and have really used it!

We got the Mug on the Fantasy last week. I asked about the Mickey Pirate Pin. It was discontinued 6 months ago. Shucks...I wish they would continue giving out a pin!

I agree but they probably cost too much. My DD actually received a broken one at the meeting. She turned to me and said "Mom, this is really cool. It comes apart." I told her that none of the others were separating so she probably got a broken one.

We got something similar on the Member Cruise in August -- it's a very large insulated tumbler, 8.5 inches tall, clear plastic, sort of double-lined with a royal blue top. Sound like the same thing?

The DVC presentation on embarkation day was pretty bad on the fantasy last Saturday. They moved the event to the D Lounge and it couldn't hold the number of people attending - didn't have enough seating, got stuffy. The drink situation was kind of a disaster - they brought them out one tray at a time to the back off the room and a fair number of members never got one - they just stopped bringing them out.

The experience made me question whether I'll go to one again.

Not the same....it's a smaller insulated mug and is definitely not dishwasher safe

We did this in the Fantasy in January. We got the mug and the hat. Mugs are nice but you do have to hand wash but DH enjoyed using it during the cruise. They were really into pushing the Poly. Not surprising but they basically ran out of time to do the raffles at the end. They did some but not all that was planned. Not sure I would go again.

We did stop by the DVC desk during the week. Got the wheel pin and a plastic drink holders that you push into the sand so your drink doesn't get messy.
