Anyone know what is going on 4/17 MK closing at 6pm

I know hours are just coming out and will change, but for some reason on Tuesday 4/17/18 it notes MK is only open until 6pm. I understand early closing with all the halloween and christmas parties but what is going on in April? It does seem out of the norm for other park hours. Are there any events planned for that night?

We are planned to be at other parks that day, but wondering if i should keep my eye out for some sort of special event taking place.

I have no clue, but it could be a private event like a cast member party or something.

It's almost certainly a private event.

Certainly glad that we didn't plan on that park for that day. I even just tried to look for dining reservations and there is nothing available after 2:30pm. Very interesting. I'll be interested to find out what is going on.
