Anyone know what date FOTLK will reopen?

The exterior of the new area/addition is still being worked on. Inside the theater, it is ready - rehearsals began over a week ago. The Harambe Nights special events with an exclusive show in the theater begins on June 7th... so, the prediction is FOLK begins prior to June 7th.

We will be at AK on June 9th. This would be such a pleasant surprise for me and my DS. We are not the type to mope about something being closed, but we sure are the type to be happy when they are open when we did not plan on it......

Now if I can just get them to wait on closing the Peoplemover...LOL.

Several posters here, myself included, have heard some very reliable rumors that some sort of opening (soft or regular) is scheduled for the first week in June (think like June 1 or 2) and with the new Harambe Nights beginning on June 7, this seems very possible.

Several posters here, myself included, have heard some very reliable rumors that some sort of opening (soft or regular) is scheduled for the first week in June (think like June 1 or 2) and with the new Harambe Nights beginning on June 7, this seems very possible.

I sure hope so... We'll be there May 29-June 7 and would love to see it. Can't wait to see the new theatre and surrounding area.

I was on the phone Friday for almost 2 hours with a CM, she was great, and told me it was the end of May

She also verified what has already been mentioned on this board, that more fast passes are released at 30 days and again before your arrival date

We will be at the World 5/30-6/4 and am really hoping that FOTLK is reopen during that time. I was very bummed that Harambe nights starts 6/7 right after we leave and seriously considered extending our stay (for like 10 seconds when the $$ started adding up and the reality of DHs limited vacation time set in )

I did just check MDE and there are no FP+ available for those dates yet; but still have my fingers crossed!

Last week I read June 30 on one page and July1 on another.

We're going the first week if June so if what others are saying here, I'd be very happy. We're doing AK on June 5th.

This is good news! We never spend a full day at AK and have fastpasses for the safari, EE and Dinosaur. We love FOTLK and will be glad to make time for that. Don't like Nemo. Usually whenever we go to AK in June it is pouring by 1PM anyway!

I was thinking the same thing. Since it has been closed for several months, you KNOW it will be in very high demand. Fingers crossed that we get to see it!

Anyone hear anything new about this such as when it will reopen or be available for Fastpass+? I am trying to plan our AK half day but without knowing the times for this, it is very hard to plan it to see what we want and spend the minimal time at AK.

We will be there on June 10th. It is our favorite show.
