Anyone know the difference between a Xyron 505 and 510?

I purchased the Xyron at HSN's website and it's a 505. What is the difference between this model and the 510 besides price????

I emailed Xyron about this and here's the response I got:

"Not much really. The 505 came out before the 510. The 510 really just has some consumer suggested cosmetic changes. The machines function the same."


In researching this, I found that the 505 uses the same cartridges as the 510. Hope this helps someone.

Thank you... I asked this exact same question in a different thread. I too had purchased the 505 through QVC but never found refills for it. Now, I can go to Michaels and purchase some for 40% off buying the 510 instead.

Tina, that's exactly what I did! I also received an email direct from Xyron stating that the 505 uses the same cartridges as the 510, so go stock up!!!
