How odd! Our October half term next year is the 12th! Oct 12th-Oct 29th, two weeks.
Maybe that's why I always seems to bag a cheap holiday, everyone else is still at school/work!
We leave on the 11th next year and back on the 25th, which is perfect only 2 days off, when the kids won't be doing much work at school anyway, and we'll be back 4 days before school, enough time to get over the jet lag
