Anyone know of past Easter timeframe discounts?

Hi - We're going for the 1st time ever, after WDW, right before Easter (4/4 to 4/6). The good news is that I have ressies for RPR . The bad news is that the rate is $319/night . And, the Loew's person said she doubted any discounts would surface b/c of the holiday.

But I can't help hoping and wondering if anyone here has had experience getting discounts around springbreak/Easter, in recent past years?

I have not had luck with discounts at Easter time. On our last Easter trip two years ago, I did get a decent discount with orangevacations.com. It looks like they still offer a slight discount. Only caveat is, if I recall, there is a penalty for a change or cancellation. I think it is $50. Hope this helps.

We went a couple years ago at Easter. I booked early to get a reservation and just kept checking back expecting to get a discount......never happened! Guess there's no need to discount when they sell out at rack rates. Hopefully you'll have better luck!

wow the rates went up around easter when we went 2 years ago we paid 279 at the rpr. and i thought that was alot.
