Anyone know of any discounts for 2BR villa?

We had a AAA discount last yr until I discovered how much cheaper it was to rent points from a DVC member. We saved over 50% off Disney's rate on the weekday nights. Depending on the season, the weekend nights aren't much of a savings. Rent pts if you can but you need to plan many months out depending on the season.

Renting points is your best way to go for a discount. You can go to the DVC section of the the Dis boards for all the info as to how many points you would need, how it works, etc.

DVC members can make reservations 11 months out at their home resorts. So, for example, if you want to go next Dec, it is time to plan now as a reservation can be made in Jan.

Renting points is definitely the best savings for stays Sunday-thursday but not for stays on Friday and Saturday due to point differences.

However please read all the info on the DVC rent forum as this is a private arrangement between you and the renter and any problems should they arise will not be handled by Disney.

Most never have any problems but be careful who you rent from and make sure you and the renter are in agreement on arrangements.

I was just goofing around on the AAA site not too long ago, and it was pulling up 2BRs at the AAA rate. And what others have said is correct -- for Friday and Saturday the AAA rate does tend to be a little cheaper than renting the points in value or regular seasons (asuming the going rate of $10/point).

yes but there is no guarantee you can keep the same room. Why not move to another resort for the extra nights and get a different experience. Presumable you will have to get two rooms. Try the Poly its my fvorite!!

just saw SSR 2 BR on Disney Passholder site (BRP), for 2/17-2/26/06. I was checking availability for another resort, and it came up...
So they are sometimes discounted.
