Anyone know... is Fountainview Cafe closing?

seriously, this was the only place I've found in the park...even at the resorts...that served a decent cup of coffee.

It is open MORNINGS ONLY during busy times. I was open last August and Dcember but not this April. I think it closes about 11:00 a.m.

When we there Sept '06 we ate there a couple of times for breakfast and used on CS to get the breakfast pocket, truffle cake and a smoothie and enjoyed the view.

A few days later it was converted into a wine bar.

My friend and I were at free dining last year (9/19 - 9/26). Early in the trip we went to Fountainview and had a wonderful breakfast snack. Decided to do it again later in the trip . . . and it was closed (for the rest of the week). We were both so aggravated. That must have been when the changeover occurred.

rlduvall, I hope that Jenny is right in that it is at least open in the mornings when we are there. It is just the right start for the day for us. A nice place to rest a bit before heading over into WS.

If only it were open in the evenings on the way out as well.

Does anyone know if any place IS open then??
