Here's the reality, you can only play it 8 times & the wording made it seem like it was pretty much a gift, but it's not an mp3, you can't copy it, transfer it to an audio player, make a CD with it or keep it more than a few weeks.
I believe you can play WMA's in Winamp . They have a diskwriter plugin that will write it out to a wave file. I used to use it to burn audio cd's from MP3s.
I've tried it too. But from my research it doesn't sound like it's technically feasible. The technology is just completely different between the two sound types.
