Anyone know how to get member number from disney

My resales contract was officially transferred to me today (yeah!!!!!!). I have heard conflicting information on this board on whether or not you could call for your member number instead of waiting for the mail. When I called, they said I was in the system but the way the account was "set up" they could not access anything without my member number. By "set up" I'm guessing that means resale purchase. Anyone know the best way to get my member number and activation code without waiting for snail mail? Thank you for any info you may have.

They'll mail it. Ours came within a week with latest purchase of a new contract.

I spoke to someone in "Quality Control", or something like that. He just gave me our member number. I then called Member Services to book a vacation and order AP's. They gave me the rest of the numbers I needed. Good thing I was able to do all of that, b/c my member ship packet just arrived YESTERDAY. The contract was in Disney's hands to transfer membership on Feb. 26th.
