Anyone Know anything About Thanksgiving Day Parade??

We are planning a trip on and around Thanksgiving. Is there a T-day parade at Disney World, is it live? If not when do they tape it? Main reason for asking- 2 cousins who LOVE the JoBros are hoping to see them there for that. I have looked around a little, but can't find any info on T-day at all.

Just the regular 3:00 parade. The only addition might be the Turkeys who are pardoned by the president, they are occasionally added to a parade that week, depending on wether they go to DLand or WDW.

Thanksgiving day is "owned" by the R.H. Macy Company. And in early Decemberr they loan several of their balloons to Universal Studios Florida.

And Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Parade is usually taped over several days in early December.

we arrived on Thanksgiving this past year, and stayed through the week. We were able to see the taping of the WDW Christmas parade that airs on ABC on Christmas Day later on in the week. However, the Jonas Brothers weren't there, they were in Disneyland. Miley Cyrus was there, and so were David Cook and David Archuletta.

we were at the T-Day parade taping in DL several years ago. It was taped in Sept/Oct (Don't remember exactly when.)

I was there last year for the filming of the parade. We were there Dec 3-9, but I can't remember what days they filmed exactly. I know it was two days and MK was crowded! There is a lot of starting and stopping to get the best shots. Sometimes performers have to back up and redo a number. It's neat to watch for a little bit, but you can't possible stand there both days.

Last year we saw Miley Cyrus performing up by the castle. It was mayhem. People were in the park at rope drop and saving their spots. Rides weren't crowded though! Also, David Cook was there!
