Anyone know anything about Medishare? Looking for information.

Does anyone belong to Medishare? I keep hearing their commercials on the radio & wondered if it's legit. Their website tells you how it all works, but not how much it costs or how much of each medical bill is paid. Anyone have first hand knowledge of how much it costs per month to belong/premium, do they pay entire bill or just a portion, is there a deductible, etc. Their website claims it qualifies under the Affordable Care Act...but I'm skeptical. Any info you have would be appreciated. Our monthly costs for health insurance is as much as a mortgage payment for cheapest policy, not including $12k a year in deductibles. Thanks in advance.

I chatted on a long plane ride with a guy who uses this or something like this to insure his family. I did a lot of research after talking with him and thought these Christian bill sharing options were legit. I didn't pursue it at the time because I wasn't regularly attending church (a requirement I believe).

We use Medishare. It is an alternative to ACA and the government recognizes it as such. There is a form that they supply that you file with your tax return. I have had nothing but a great experience with it. My premiums are so much less than they would have been with traditional insurance. I'm happy to answer any questions!
