Anyone know anything about Cherished Teddies?

My Avon lady handed me a Cherished Teddie today. It is really cute with a Mickey Mouse club t-shirt on and holding a Mickey balloon.

It looks like it's numbered and came with papers?

Any information would be greatly appreciated.

I know nothing about them. Is there a certain number of them made? What are they worth? I'm assuming with this paperwork that they are more than cute little figurines!!

I have a couple of them including the one you have. I do not save any of the papers that come with it - I probably should but I don't. At some point they may be worth a lot of money but I'll probably be dead by then

I know Cherished Teddies does make some of them exclusively for Avon and
they are limited in quantity. They are rare and can be worth money later
on. All Cherished Teddies are numbered and come with papers. Best
suggestion is do not mail in the papers....makes it worth more.

That's strange we live in UK and DD got a cherished teddy for her birthday last saturday. My mum got it for her. DD plays golf and the teddy is playing golf. It has a number on it. I had never seen one before.

I really didn't expect to read a thread about it on the USA community board. I just browsing through and it caught my eye. STRANGE.

I have the same one! My friend collected these for years and had quite a collection. I collected a few but I wasn't really into it. I like my Disney collection much better and this one happens to fit in with that theme. They are cute though. I'm not sure they will ever be worth big bucks though.

I used to collect them from back when they first came out - have over 200, but am gonna list them on Ebay soon. I got tired of them and of getting them out every holiday. They have been taking up space in the basement - can't believe I paid to move them. They are cute, and I really enjoyed them at the time. I really do wish I had held onto the papers - at the time I thought it was important o mail in them in. Oh well! I would consider the Disney themed one though - I enjoy Disney stuff more now!

I am amazed at these little things. Didn't even know they existed. It looks really cute nestled amongst the Disney plates!! and now to find out they are overseas. Blows my mind!!
