Anything you know/have heard is helpful. I couldn't find anything about it with Search option. I'd really appreciate any help!

Thanks, Kellam

I'd really like to hear some reviews from you guys. I've checked out Tripadvisor, but was hoping someone here might have something to share about theirs or a friends experience with the resort.

Thanks for helping me clarify! :)

okay I read the reviews on tug - this resort needs alot of work - that say - get in the highrise and you should be fine.

And we would NEVER go back. We got the deal where we had to listen to timeshare presentation so we thought we would take it and use these 5 days for visiting parks other than Disney. This was a 2 week trip for my daughter and 3 friends for her 16th birthday party. Well the room smelled, it was dirty and the lobby was less than desireable. Now let me also say that we are use to the Disney Vacation Club accomodations, so we expect a lot. My husband shut the sales manager up so fast it wasn't funny - we were shown our way out very quickly. My DH made comment on the dirty dark dingy lobby. We were out of there by 7am on our 5th day - couldn't wait to get the BCV in Disney. The girls were happy to leave to. I would say that the high rises are nice, they are new but the rest need to be torn down and rebuilt. The water park is nothing more than some slides and sprays for younger kids. For older kids and people, you will stick to the quiet pools. That was our experience a few years back. I was not the only one. there were a number of people who went about the same time that has the same opinion. Things could have gotten cleaned up. But since that if it's not Disney then I would only stay at the name brand ones or ones that i have heard back that they are nice. Good luck, if you go I hope things have been cleaned up.

We stayed at the Liki Tiki Oct 29 - Nov 4th, 2004 and enjoyed it. Was a little apprehensive as some of the reviews on TripAdvisor were negative but we were very impressed with our unit. We had a 2 bedroom townhouse type unit. Everything was clean and neat and we really enjoyed having the kitchen and washer. The water slide pool area was a little walk away from our unit, but the main pool and hot tub was located directly behind us and hardly had any people in it at any particular time. My husband and I went out in the hot tub at around 9 pm one and night and had the entire pool area to ourselves. Had one call regarding wanting to meet with us to offer value tickets but I knew from reading the boards it was a time share deal and politely declined. Were never bothered again. The resort was 10 mins away from Disney and is just off 192 which is a main highway hosting various shopping areas and tourist attractions. We got a rate of $99 per night.
