I am wondering what River Country water Park at WDW was like? Should it have been shut down? :thumbsup2 :) :wizard:

I remember going there when I was very little. It was a fun place to goof around at. All the water was actual river water and I heard they closed it because of health reasons with the water. Either bacteria or other biological issues with the actual river water. You can still see where it was if you go to where it once was near Ft. Wilderness.

It was okay. I'm not big on lake swimming and the water was actually a part of the lake.

The tube ride was cool - of course I was a kid when I was there. I don't think that disney wants people in the lake water anymore. They now posts signs at the resorts along bay lake and seven seas lagoon about not going in the water.

It was not only the Water harming us But us hurting the water sun lotion and so forth was getting into the lake.
I really liked it when we went it was just like tom sawyer and huck finn.I also think when they opened that park restrictions were not as bad I just don't see rope slides and flogswings anymore.
