Anyone know about PayPal

There is an item I want to bid on on EBAY but they only take PayPal. Can someone tell me if there is a fee associated with just sending money via PayPal? It doesn't seem like there is based on their web site but I want to be sure. Also, does anyone know of any incentives for joining? I remember a long time ago you got $5 in your account or something like that.

There is no fee associated with joining PayPal to make purchases. The way PayPal makes their money is by taking a portion of the money that the seller makes on any particular item.

PayPal is a great way to purchase items on ebay!

There is no fee to send money, but the incentive to join went away a long time ago.

I think the do still give you $5 but you have about $250 into your account. Be sure to keep the personal account. If you go to a premier account you will be charged anytime someone sends you money.
