The doctor says that's what I have. It's a swelling of the bursa at the tip of the elbow, and it looks like a goose egg under the skin. But it's really a fluid swelling caused by irritation. Also called "students' elbow", because it's often caused by leaning your elbow on a desk all the time. The doctor drained it yesterday, and 24 hours later, my elbow is as swollen as it was before. No pain, fortunately, and the doctor didn't seem too concerned, just said it might come and go! Anyone ever had it? Does it ever go away? The fact that it came right back after he drained it is so discouraging!
