Anyone Know about La Vida?

I've done a quick search but can't find anything more about this health club/spa than what is on disney.go. The information there says it's closed for renovations, but does anyone know for how long? What updates are they doing and how badly was it due for them?

I'd love to hear any and all opinions / info. I'm playing with a special short vacation for my mom, and a spa definitely figures in the plans! (Nothing definite, but I just get happy planning out scenarios...)

The salon and spa, the Fitness Center, and Casitas Quiet Pool, are closed until October 12th. There's a temporary fitness center set up in Room "T", one of the convention meeting rooms in the El Centro main bldg. Can't give you details on why, or what will change with the refurbishment. I haven't read any info anywhere with that type of info.
