Just bumping this to see if anyone knows about the Manhatten?

Just bumping this up again...... I still cant find the thread or who said it looool

Just got back from the HNY for 6 nights (awesome park experience, hotel has really gone down hill and we are unlikely to return).

Nothing going on at Manhatten - it was open for breakfast closed at Dinner.

Room service menu was poor in the room, so not a good sign.

Have to wait and see, but HNY went from our fav hotel at DLP to being overpriced...bummer.

:sad2: Oh no..... I'm really looking forward to staying here.. but I'm read alot o ppl saying similar.

I am sure you will have a good time, but the HNY used to be spectacular. Sadly we had a better stay at the Holiday Inn in Charles De Gaul for a couple of nights before.

If you have not stayed in a Disney hotel before, (or are not used to staying in hotels), you will be fine.

For us, we paid extra for the HNY because they used to offer an amazing experience, but paying for a 4 star where you have to lug your own luggage to the car (when bell services used to do it for you), no turn down, and less characters than before, I was disappointed (as someone who used to spend 100 nights in a hotel a year on business, have travelled Disney resorts around the globe and have stayed in the HNY 8 times before).

If those things are not important to you (for us Bell Services, and Room Service were two key reasons for staying). The pool was excellent though, breakfast was good, and we had a castle view for Fireworks from the room which was pretty amazing).

I know it doesnt really answer the question but Ive just been reading the newest brochure (which runs from Nov 08 - April 09) and it mentions Manhatten as serving traditional and creative Italian cuisine
