The title says it all.

We're flying into Miami Airport next summer.
We might continue by plane to Orlando, however, the domestic flights aren't yet available for booking.
We've already booked our international flights (to lock in the low price).
In the event we're unable to book a flight to Orlando, I figured we might be able to take a van service.
There are many companies offering this, but are any of them reputable?
I've used airport transportation in Orlando, but never from Miami.

any information would be appreciated!!
thanks!

i should add that the reason we're flying into miami is that's where the plane goes LOL
there's no direct flight to orlando..
and right now we can't book a ticket that connects to orlando (since american doesn't have their july 31 bookings open yet)..
so we did the worst thing in the world - bought tickets for just the international portion.
the prices were too good to risk losing them.

Tony Hinds is the company

The disboards also has a car company service

There are numerous shuttle services from Miami Airport that can take you to Orlando. I don't know any of them, and don't know their pricing.

There is also Red Coach bus, which picks up right at Terminal J at MIA. Red Coach provides a very comfortable bus ride for the 4 hour trip. They go to MCO, and from there you can take a normal MCO-WDW shuttle or rideshare. I think DME will be history by then, but Mears will have a bus service, I'm sure.

Terminal J is at the far end of the airport from American Airlines, but there is a moving walkway from end to end on the Upper (3rd) level. Arriving on an international flight however, you will probably arrive at Terminal E, which is in the middle of the airport. Your baggage pickup will be on the lower (1st) level. You would take the elevator from there to the upper level, then moving walkway to the end at Terminal J. Then elevator down one level to the departure (2nd) level and the bus stop is just outside.

My daughter has taken Red Coach MIA-Orlando several times (we live in Miami and she goes to college in Orlando) and has been very pleased with the service. Generally on time, very comfortable, and free wifi. AFIK, tickets are usually less that $60 per person, and I think she normally books well ahead and pays $35-$45.

that sounds like a good option...
given how long we'd have to wait for the connecting flight, this may actually turn out to be faster..

However...I think their buses run only twice a day from Miami-Orlando. 11-ish and 4 PM-ish.
not such a great option then....well we can always rent and drive, though after a 14 hour flight, it's probably not the greatest idea

It depends on when your flight arrives. It's going to take you some time to go through Customs anyway. If you arrive within a couple of hours of the bus time, there are lots of good food options at MIA so you could relax for a bit and get something to eat.

If you arrive after 4 PM, obviously NOT a good option!

we arrive at 6:30 am...
i've heard miami immigration is hell on earth (3 hour waits)..
thus far, we've only 'enjoyed' the JFK version of hell (i find it hard to believe miami could be worse, but who knows)....
American has an 8:30 am flight that we might possibly be able to make...maybe....possibly....
more than likely, i'll book us onto American Airlines once the dates open up....
i normally would have done it on one ticket, but i couldn't risk losing the transatlantic price that was currently available..
but for 9 of us, it will probably be cheaper to just hire a private van/bus if i knew a reputable company..

that's the key....finding a reputable transport company...
