Anyone know? 6541 room good location?

Ok just wondering, this is the room we have booked for next May, 28th. I am hoping this location is good, are their stairs that my son can have easy access to get to the kids lab. It looks like we are right above it, I am hoping that the stairs are close to this instead of taking an elevator just 1 floor down. He would rather do stairs. If you have stayed in this room (or close by) I would love to here your input. Thanks

Hi wannabecruiser. We "chatted" the other day about being on the same cruise. Well, we did finally book yesterday and will be in room 6550 so we'll be neighbors. I did take your advice and signed up on the cruise meets board too!

We stayed in cabin 6540 and found it to be very convenient. There are stairs
right there which you can take to the kids clubs and it is usually much faster
than waiting for an elevator. I would not hesitate to stay in this location again.

You will be using the stairs often.. DCL has the World's slowest elevators... ok maybe it is the fact that they only have 2 per station & the kids hit every button on the panel..
