Anyone just off the Fantasy?

We are leaving in two weeks on the Fantasy and are super excited - cruise #6 on DCL for us. If anyone is just off the Fantasy, would love the answer to some questions:

* What was the water temp like at Castaway? We've sailed in August and Nov. Wondering what spring is like.
* What movies are running right now? (DD14 wants to know.)
* I read the thread about Noro on the Fantasy a few weeks ago and it's freaking me out. (I have a phobia.) Any current issues?

Just off.

Water temp in Castaway seemed to be a bit chilly in the a.m. but warmer in the p.m. That said, took a jet ski to a sand bar and the water out there was warmer than a bath tub.

Zootopia, Bridge of Spies, Good Dino, Finest Hours, don't remember any more

I saw no evidence of anyone getting sick.

Just got on a couple hours ago. Zootopia is showing a LOT. Good Dino is only showing twice - one of which is right now.

We got back a week ago. Was our sailing that you were hearing of noro (3/5-12)? I did see and hear of several kids falling ill. I share your phobia! I carried hand sanitizer wipes and washed hands as much as possible. We were lucky to stay healthy.

We had a postcard day on Castaway. Sunny and 80 degrees. The water was a little cool for my liking but my kids were totally fine with it.

We were on a Star Wars sailing so most of our movies were Star Wars. We did have a few showings of Good Dino, Bridge of Spies and Zootopia.

Just off the wonder. Water cold at castaway but weather beautiful. Did see a couple people throw up. One in pool (closed it down), one in kiddie club. We did not get sick. Other people on board did not seem sick. Movies: good dinosaur, zootopia, star wars (new one), inside out (once), finest hours (only late at night).

I got off March 12 ..water in Castaway cay was cool but perfect because the day was HOT!
We spent our day at Serenity bay and I was surprised again how shallow the water is.

For those recently off, who were the Cruise Staff team members, Cruise Director, and Captain?

We got off the the Fantasy on Saturday. CC water was so cold for me, but I'm a wimp. Our daughter didn't mind it! They were also showing Star Wars onboard. The Cruise Director was Darren and Commodore Tom was keeping us on course! Several members of our FE group got sick.....fell ill with the flu while onboard. Our family did great.

Eek. These posts about people catching Noro and Influenza on the ships is freaking me out. This is our 6th cruise and we've been pretty lucky to stay healthy (except I had a cold on our last cruise.) I told DH that I'm afraid we are due. We booked this cruise over a year ago and DD14 is over the moon excited. I'm hoping it lives up to her expectations.

First cruise without DD18 as she is away at school.

Thanks for the info on Cruise Director and captain. We've had Commodore Tom before but I don't think we've ever had Darren as our CD.

We just sailed on the Fantasy (March 12 - 19). The water temperature at Castaway Cay was cold on initial entry, but then was quite lovely.
The movies playing were Star Wars The Force Awakens, The Good Dinosaur, Ant Man, Zootopia, Bridge of Spies, Finest Hours and Inside Out.
I was not aware of any illness on our cruise, and there were no issues at all within my family.

CC water was still pretty cold this past Friday. I'm pretty wimpy about cold water - but I was in for an hour snorkeling. It was quite a shock getting in though.

Thanks for the info on Cruise Director and captain. We've had Commodore Tom before but I don't think we've ever had Darren as our CD.

CD Darren is awesome! We loved his and assistant CD Michaels morning show. So funny!
