anyone just back from PO riverside???

We leave 2 weeks from today and was wondering how your stay was???
are the boats up and running ok??
What do the refillable mugs look like now??? any changes???
Is Bob back in the lounge???
was it crowded???

We just got back today. We stayed at the WLV, but went over to POR. The mugs are the same style, but they are now purple and gold, also the boats for POR are running, and BOB was in the bar playing the piano on Friday night.

Hi,
We got back on Sept. 23rd. We stayed in the Acadian House. The first 3 days we had the building to ourselves. I think there were only a few rooms being used. On the weekend we saw a few people at Acadian, but not very many. The food court was busy, but not crowded.
The food court is still selling the green/gold/white coffee mugs (the wider style) The thin car style are now a different color (purple/gold/white)
We went to see Bob play on a couple of nights. It was interesting.
We were hoping to take the boats to DD, but there was always a long line waiting for the boat.
We had a great time at PO.

We just got back Sunday. We stayed in the AB section Bldg #15. The boats to DD were running 4-11pm and to POFQ all day. There were 2 diffrent mug styles to pick (one was more neutral colors and the other brighter colors). The day we left it was starting to get crowded (the CM told me that they were going to be full this week). The resort was as nice as I remember it. Even though the boat lines were long, they had several boats running. We took the boat twice to DD and once to POFQ.

I believe they are selling off the remaining inventory of the green mugs and all new mugs will have the purple colors. The CM I spoke to said she "thought" that was the case. But, she could be wrong.

I just got back yesterday!! (Oct 8th) We were in room 8212 Arcadian I think the room was quite a distance I prefer Magnolia.
The hotel had ALOT of convention people.
The pool bridge is blocked so you can not go under the bridge from one side to the other.

I'm so relieved to hear of folks staying in Magnolia Bend! I requested Parterre Place for our trip next month and was starting to get concerned that MB was closed, since every recent post I've read talked aboutstaying in AB. I hope MB is open at THanskgiving. We just prefer the surroundings of MB. ALso my dad is pretty disabled so we were looking for a really easy access room. He's too proud (stubborn?) to use a wheelchair (although is talking about a scooter for the parks at this point) so our plans are made to best fit his requirements.
Thanks for the news. DId it seem there was any activity in MB besides Acadian House?

We just returned last night 10/9! We had a great time! We were in building 27. It was a perfect location.. not too close to the foodcourt and not too far. The room was in very good condition. When we first arrived, the resort was not crowded at all, then a convention checked in. We did not even notice the people from the convention because they did not use the foodcourt or bus transportation. I LOVE this resort! It is so peaceful to walk around the beautiful landscaping. The main pool got a little crowded in the afternoon and the water was way too warm (like bath water), so we usually went to the quiet pool near our building and practically had the pool to ourselves. We saw Bob in the lounge one evening, the crowd seemed to be having a good time. We took a boat to downtown disney at around 4:30pm and there was no line. Bus transportation was fine, except that they really pack the buses full of people. All in all...it was a great vacation! POR is one of my favorite resorts! Have a great time! Let me know if you have anymore questions!

We're planning to stay at Parterre Place at the end of November and would like to hear what recent guests like/dislike about it.

Where was your room located? Did you get a water view and if so, did you like/dislike it? Was your room clean? Were the furnishings worn? etc. etc.

We'll be at POR 11/23-30 and also have requested Paterre Place. I'm hoping it's open. Maybe we'll see you there. We'll be the palest New Englanders there!
