Anyone into independent/art house films?

Just wondering.. and I'd love to discuss some of your favorites...

I was thinking about it because I am waiting excitedly for Garden State to come out... Zack Braff's (Scrubs -NBC) new film. It looks really cool and I'm in love with the Frou Frou song used for the promos..

In the day, I used to go to the movies all the time. I wouldn't mind seeing "Supersize me" about the guy who ate McDonalds for a month.

"Hoop Dreams" was the best one I've seen. It's a documentary and a magazine published an article about what happened to the cast of Hoop Dreams. I will have to check it out.

Never been interested in any of the "shorts" produced by some of the local college students.

I love Indie films. We just rented "The Station Agent" with Peter Dinklage and Patricia Clarkson. I really liked it a lot.

We also recently enjoyed "The Cooler" with William H. Macey and Alec Baldwin. This one is definitly an adult film.

Garden State is on my list as well. I love independent movies especially documentaries. We have a great theater in Milwaukee to see them at called the Oriental We have seen quite a few over the summer there.
